Madison LeCroy and Craig Conover Among Top Chef Season 23 Guest Judges

Get ready for a Bravo crossover! The newest season of Top Chef will feature Southern Charm stars Madison LeCroy and Craig Conover as guest judges. At first this seems pretty random. If you were going to have Bravo stars on Top Chef, grab some chefs from Below Deck. However, Top Chef Season 23 will be filming in both North and South Carolina, which makes it ideal for the two Southern Charm stars to stop on by.

Madison and Craig have been quite busy. Madison recently welcomed a baby girl into her family named Teddi. Meanwhile, Craig may or may not have a new girlfriend after he broke the internet with his breakup to Paige DeSorbo.

Still, the two were able to make time to pop over to Top Chef. Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported that the newest season of Top Chef is filming in Charlotte, North Carolina. And there will also be several episodes based in Greenville, South Carolina. Which is where Madison and Craig will probably show up.

Top Chef’s Season 23 announcement read, “This season will showcase the finest in Southern hospitality, embracing the rich history, agriculture, and outdoors, as a new batch of accomplished and renowned chefs vie for the ultimate Top Chef title.”

And speaking of Southern Hospitality, it’s interesting that Leva Bonaparte wasn’t picked as a guest judge. As we know, she has several restaurants in the Charleston scene as well as a restaurant-themed show. Perhaps she’ll be on later. In the meantime, both Madison and Craig have some foodie credits to their names as well.

Craig owns a restaurant called “By the Way.” This neighborhood tavern serves dishes such as “Southern fried chicken, duck confit poutine, a caramelized burger, and wild mushroom ravioli.” And Madison is known for her home cooking videos on social media.

I’m not sure if that qualifies them as expert guest judges, but it will still be fun to watch them on the show nonetheless.

Top Chef is streaming on Peacock and streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
