Madonna has done it again.
The pop icon has soared to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart with Confessions II.
The US star’s 15th studio record is her 13th to debut in the top spot. This follows other chart toppers including True Blue, the I’m Breathless soundtrack, The Immaculate Collection, Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Something To Remember, Ray Of Light, Confessions On A Dance Floor, Hard Candy, MDNA, Rebel Heart, and Finally Enough Love.
Only Jimmy Barnes, The Beatles and Taylor Swift have had more No. 1 albums.
Confessions II also debuted at No. 1 on the Vinyls chart.
Other debuts this week include Sienna Shapiro’s Visitor (No. 3), and Deep Purple’s Splat! (No. 19).
Over on the Singles chart, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” stays at No. 1 for the fifth non-consecutive week on the Singles Chart.
