Madonna announced the arrival of a new dance album—marking her first studio album since 2019’s Madame X. For the upcoming project, Madonna has reunited with Warner Records nearly two decades after she left the label. Warner Records is where Madonna started her illustrious music career, including albums like 1984’s Like a Virgin, 1989’s Like a Prayer, and 1998’s Ray of Light.
“From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer. Since the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me,” Madonna said in a press release statement. “I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”

The project is currently slated for a 2026 release.
It’s a follow up to Confessions on a Dance Floor.
The new album will include a reunion with DJ Stuart Price, who previously collaborated with the pop star on her critically-acclaimed and Grammy-winning 2005 dance album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
