Maggie Baugh has returned to Instagram amid the rumors about the nature of her relationship with Keith Urban following his split from Nicole Kidman.
Baugh, 25, took to the social media platform on Monday, October 6, to share a completely black image with the caption, “Announcement coming soon…”
Baugh’s post comes after a resurfaced clip from a recent stop on Urban’s High and Alive Tour showed him changing a lyric in his song “The Fighter” — which was inspired by Kidman, 58 — to be about Baugh.
In the original lyric, Urban, 57, sings, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter.” However, he instead offered a shout-out to rising country star Baugh, who has duetted with him on the song during several of his performances.
“When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player,” Urban sang at a show prior to his Monday, September 29, split from Kidman, as seen in footage shared by Baugh via Instagram.
“Did he just say that 👀,” Baugh captioned the September 27 post.
Additionally, as seen in a resurfaced clip from Urban’s Las Vegas concert in April, the Australian-American country singer seemingly pointed across the stage at Baugh during “The Fighter” as he sang, “I was born to love you.” He then changed a lyric to, “Maggie, I’ll be your fighter.”
Amid speculation that Maggie played a role in the end of Urban’s marriage to Kidman, her father, Chuck Baugh, denied the rumors via social media on Wednesday, October 1. Chuck took to Facebook with a TikTok video claiming that his daughter may “allegedly [be] the person responsible for Keith’s divorce from Nicole Kidman.” (Us Weekly confirmed that Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on Tuesday, September 30.)

Urban performed his first concert post-split at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, October 2. Maggie was notably absent from the show, with Urban’s other utility player Natalie Stovall performing instead. “The Fighter” was not on the setlist that night.
Us confirmed on Monday that Kidman and Urban had separated after 19 years of marriage. Kidman filed for divorce the following day, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The filing also came with a marital dissolution agreement signed by both herself and Urban, which included a parenting plan, a child support plan and a “parenting seminar order,” as seen in court docs obtained by Us. (Kidman and Urban are parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith, 14.)
Though the document was signed by Kidman on September 6 and Urban on August 29, the Babygirl actress listed their date of separation as September 30.

While Kidman and Urban’s split was a shock to many fans, others had become suspicious of trouble in paradise after the now-estranged spouses had not been seen together in several months. Their last outing as a couple was in June, when they attended the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 game in Nashville.
Additionally, the two had not posted each other on their respective social media pages in some time prior to the split news.
