ANDERSON — Magnolia Soul will perform in the Anderson Summer Concert Series on Friday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Dickmann Town Center, 12th and Meridian streets.
“This free, family-friendly concert promises a rich mix of soulful vocals, infectious grooves, and irresistible energy that will have the audience on its feet from the first note,” according to a press release from the city of Anderson.
Magnolia Soul is known for blending Southern soul, funk, R&B and modern blues. With a lineup of seasoned musicians, the band has performed at major music festivals, concert halls and community events across the Midwest. Their live shows feature horn lines.
Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music in the heart of downtown.
Bigg Higg the Food Dude food truck will be on location.
