Video shows Keizer Miracle of Lights illuminate Gubser neighborhood
Keizer Miracle of Lights accepts non-perishable food items and cash donations to benefit the Marion Polk Food Share.
Make Music Salem, the group behind the city’s longtime Summer Solstice celebration, will bring more music to the city on the Winter Solstice on Dec. 21.
Yule Make Music Salem’s events will be held throughout the day, starting with Jigs+Joy featuring Ceili of Valley dancers and Salem Trad Sessions with live Irish traditional music at Venti’s from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell Walk Family Parade will follow at 3:30 p.m. Starting at Ritter’s and ending at Noble Wave, people can play bells and sing carols. Free hot cocoa and beignets will be served after the parade.
Ho-ho-ho Holiday Cheers Live Music & Trivia will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at various locations. All ages music performances by Rivercity Royals and The Hypnatwists will take place at Precious Pizza from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Charlie Brown Christmas Trio and Ashley Lute will perform an all-ages show at Noble Wave from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Trivia with Daylight Bedtime will be available for those 21 and older at Venti’s Beer Vault from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
