ORLANDO, Fla. — Award-winning musician Barry Manilow on Tuesday announced what he said are his final tour dates in nine U.S. cities. Five of those performances are in Florida in January, including at Kia Center in Orlando on Jan. 7 and at Benchmark International Arena on Jan. 8 in Tampa.

Manilow is known for popular hits such as “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs,” and “Copacabana (At the Copa),” and has had 13 No. 1 songs during his career, which has spanned more than five decades.

In recognition of the farewell tour dates, Manilow has unveiled a new single, “Once Before I Go,” which was produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Demonte Posey.

In all, Manilow, 82, has released more than 40 albums and has sold more than 85 million albums worldwide. He was named the No. 1 Adult Contemporary genre artist of all time by Billboard and R&R magazines. He also is a Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and has won Grammy, Tony and Emmy awards, plus the BMI Icon Award.

VIP packages for select shows went on sale at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The artist presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday and ends at 10 p.m. Thursday. Kia Center, Benchmark International Arena, Outback Presents and Westgate presales run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
