Manitowoc County Historical Society Maker’s Market brings history to life
Artists from across the Midwest will gather at the Manitowoc County Historical Society Museum and Pinecrest Village on June 27 and 28, 2026, to celebrate historic trades and crafts.
What to know: This annual juried Manitowoc event lets visitors experience the sights, smells, music and craftsmanship of historic artisans. Throughout the Maker’s Market, visitors can explore hands-on crafts such as spinning and knitting, as well as heritage farm skills such as wood-stove cooking and antique machinery. You can also watch artisans create their wares, including blacksmiths, cobblers and broom makers.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28

Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center pool party adds music, games and a movie

What to know: The Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center is hosting its annual family pool party with music by The Bob & Scott DJ Show, pool toys and special games. The concession stand will be open for refreshments. After the pool party, a family-friendly movie will be shown outside in the park.
When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, with a movie to follow

Capitol Civic Centre fundraiser features blues music, brews and BBQ
What to know: Blues n’ Brews pairs fundraising with blues music and local brews. Tickets include an afternoon of live performances by Dennis Wage & Friends, three drinks and BBQ-style appetizers. Guests also can try the pick-a-tick raffle or 50/50 raffle while supporting the Capitol Civic Centre and its mission of keeping the arts alive in the Manitowoc community.

Downtown Manitowoc Farmers’ Market hosts firefighters and a firetruck
What to know: Bring the whole family to the market for a special visit from local firefighters and a firetruck. Kids can get an up-close look at the truck, meet the firefighters who help keep the community safe and learn fire safety tips. Don’t forget your camera. Afterward, shop the market and grab a bite to eat from local vendors and food trucks.
