The Manitowoc Farmers’ Market returns from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11.
What to know: Bring your little princesses and princes to Manitowoc Farmers’ Market for a magical morning with Elsa, Belle and Rapunzel. The event includes princess meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, a bubble dance party, glitter tattoos, princess-themed crafts and other surprises. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite royal outfits.

Get a classic Wisconsin fish fry at the historic Meeme House
What to know: Enjoy an old-fashioned Fish-Fryday at the historic Meeme House while supporting the Manitowoc County Historical Society’s mission to preserve local history. Dinner options include deep-fried perch or burger plates with cold American potato salad, hot German potato salad or french fries, coleslaw and rye bread; a hot dog with a macaroni and cheese cup; and sides of Riverside Half Naked cheese curds. Each meal comes with dessert and a complimentary old fashioned, beer or other beverage. Dinner is provided by Smiling Moose.
When: 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 10. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at the McAllister House Welcome Center.

Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure Weekend is July 11-12.
What to know: Swing, bowl or walk for a cure at Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure Weekend. Activities include golf Saturday and Sunday, a Nine-Pin, Red-Pin bowling tournament Sunday and a Glow Walk/Run Saturday. The weekend also includes live music, food, silent auctions, raffles and more. Money raised supports local families affected by cancer.

Spend the night aboard the USS Cobia submarine in Manitowoc
Manitowoc’s World War II submarine museum the USS Cobia will hold an overnight experience from July 11 to July 12.
What to know: A few nights a year, Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers families the chance to spend the night aboard the USS Cobia and learn about Wisconsin’s maritime history. The Submarine Sleepover for Families includes lessons on diving procedures, firing torpedoes and aiming deck guns. In the morning, participants can explore the museum’s galleries. The program is suitable for children 7 and older. Families stay aboard the vessel with other families.
When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 11, to 8 a.m. Sunday, July 12
