Centered around the roaring 20s, despite momentum from Damien Chazelle‘s previous releases, La La Land and Whiplash, the movie opened to polarizing reviews. And worst of all, it didn’t recoup its money. However, Robbie remains hopeful it’ll garner a resurgence like many other classics that didn’t do well at the time of release.
