Margot Robbie’s latest movie is a flop — and the pressure to succeed with the next one is taking a toll on her marriage, a source tells National Enquirer.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, which Robbie stars in alongside Colin Farrell, bombed at the box office amid middling reviews following its release on Friday, September 19 — “and this is a big, hard-to-ignore black eye” for the actress, 35, and her husband and producing partner, Tom Ackerley, 35.
While the pair — who share one child — didn’t produce the film through their company, LuckyChap, notes the source, it “would not have gotten made if Margot hadn’t signed up and they made that decision together,” says the source, adding that “the finger pointing and blame games have already begun.”

The Barbie star and her husband have “a lot riding” on their next movie — an adaptation of Wuthering Heights costarring Jacob Elordi that’s due out in February — says the source. “It’s hard to understate how important that one is to their future in Hollywood and as a couple, and it looks far from a surefire success.”
