EXCLUSIVE: Gilbertson Entertainment has signed Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin for representation across film, television and producing as she continues to develop new projects.
Matlin, the first Deaf performer to claim the Best Actress Oscar and its youngest recipient, was recognized for Children of a Lesser God, the 1986 Paramount romantic drama from Randa Haines, where she starred opposite William Hurt. She also won a Golden Globe for her work there and is the recipient of four Emmy nominations spanning a decade.
Matlin is also known for projects like the Best Picture winner CODA, The West Wing, The L Word and Switched at Birth, among many others. She continues to be represented by Innovative Artists Entertainment.
Gilbertson Entertainment is led by Gordon Gilbertson, a former ICM agent and Emmy Award-winning producer with credits including The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie and the upcoming USA Network series Anna Pigeon.
