MasterChef star reveals he was stalked by an enraged chef after leaving a bad review
A MasterChefstar has claimed that he was stalked by an enraged chef after leaving a bad review.
William Sitwell, the long-serving MasterChef guest judge and restaurant critic, revealed the ordeal during an appearance on Vanessa Feltz’ Channel 5 show on Wednesday (10 June).
“I was stalked by a chef who sent me texts, voicemails, emails, saying ‘get used to having me in the back of your mind wherever you go’,” Sitwell said.
He claimed he called the police on the individual at one point after his “wife got paranoid” after seeing a mysterious figure at the end of their driveway.
Asked by Feltz what the review had said, Sitwell replied: “I think I mistook some pebbles for lentils and swallowed those, and I was quite cross about that.”
