AUSTIN, Texas — It’s HAAM Music Monday powered by FVF Law, and the dynamic duo Me Nd Adam is back with a bang, ready to captivate fans with their latest musical offerings. Their new album, “A Chain Reaction of Pointless Disasters,” is set to drop this Friday, promising a fresh wave of their signature sound.
Band members Adam Walker and Vince Winik joined Trevor Scott in the studio for a very special Music Monday to share their excitement about the album, revealing their favorite tracks and the inspiration behind their recent single.
“We’re basically an alternative country rock band from Austin, Texas. We met in college back in New Orleans and started the band in 2016. So we’ve been going on a little while now, and we’re about to drop our new album, so we’re really excited,” shared Winik.
Walker added, “As a band, we’ve evolved a lot. We’ve been together almost 7 or 8 years now, and as we’ve grown, our sound has changed and matured a lot. And the new album focuses mostly on Americana country influences.”
“A Chain Reaction of Pointless Disasters” is expected to resonate with fans, offering a mix of energetic beats and introspective lyrics.
“I think the title speaks for itself. I think it can apply to a lot of things these days. I’ve gone through a lot of changes in my life recently, and I think the world is changing a lot, and people can interpret it how they will, but I think ultimately it’s about growth,” said Walker.
“The arrangements are a little less electronic. In the past, we had done a lot of electronic-oriented composition, and now this album has a lot more acoustic guitar strings. We worked with one of our really good friends, and she provides gospel vocals at the end and the climaxes of some of the songs. So it’s really thoughtful. It’s a little more intentional,” added Winik.
New Album “A Chain Reaction of Pointless Disasters” drops on September 12th.
