Kravitz. Henry. Bruce. Supergrass’s fourth single. The ‘Lenny’ hall of fame is illustrious. Now French firm 2AM’s latest product is hoping to join it. Its Lenny is described as “the first AI agent purpose-built for audience engagement and live event operations”. It’s a tool for organisers of concerts and festivals, and the people around them.
According to 2AM Lenny can respond to emails from concertgoers or route them to the correct human for more complicated queries, while also acting as an alert system. “It identifies unusual peaks or recurring issues in audience interaction, allowing organisers to react quickly and adjust their operations,” explained the company.
The tool has already been tested out at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris this August, attended by 180,000 people. “Contact with audiences is moving from limited problem solving to continuous dialogue,” is how CEO Marine Rivollet explained the use for AI in this case.
