For months, sources have suggested Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly could be reigniting their romantic connection once again. But on January 6, multiple insiders shut down that speculation, telling TMZ that Fox and Kelly are still broken up more than a year after they first split in November 2024.
The on-off couple, who share a nearly 1-year-old daughter, Saga, do not currently live together, the sources said, and Fox has their baby girl full-time. They “co-parent as needed,” the outlet wrote, adding, “Sources say Megan and MGK are not in a romantic relationship, and the only time MGK sees or talks to Megan is when he is spending time with their baby girl, who was born in March.”
In late November, a Us Weekly source claimed that Fox was open to reconciling with Kelly, saying their lives are “much more integrated” now and “as long as [Kelly] commits to proving himself, [she’d] give him another chance.”
The insider added, “They are planning on spending the holidays together and are working toward getting back together. They want to be unified as the holidays approach and want to make their family dynamic harmonious. He’s made mistakes, and they are hoping to get back to where they were. They want their family dynamic to work.”
Days earlier on November 14, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Fox and Kelly were “working on their relationship” and that “things have been going well lately. Welcoming Saga has brought them closer.”
The insider also said the two co-parents planned to continue therapy as they work to build “a more solid foundation, especially for the sake of their family.”
In March 2024, prior to the breakup, Fox told Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy that she would no longer discuss her relationship with Kelly publicly. “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” she said “So I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is that [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”
