Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are ‘making it more difficult’ for a reconciliation to happen with the royal family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s unofficial tour could cost them their relationship with the royal family.

According to royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith, the couple’s use of their titles to make appearances around the world reportedly is not sitting well with The Firm.

“They are pushing the envelope and making it much more difficult for reconciliation to happen,” she told People.

Royal expert Valentine Low noted how Harry and Meghan are seemingly going against Queen Elizabeth II‘s wishes.

“This is exactly what the late Queen [Elizabeth II] wanted to avoid,” the writer told the publication.

“The idea that he’s going against the wishes of the Queen by being half-in, half-out is nonsense. None of this is being done in the name of the institution,” Low said.

Her Majesty’s former press secretary Ailsa Anderson feels that the Duke of Sussex’s recent moves “won’t help Harry’s case or promote good relations.”

“What Harry and Meghan are doing is a non-negotiable for [Prince] William,” Anderson said. “He wouldn’t countenance any acceptance of it.”

A source claimed Harry and Meghan understand the risk they’re taking with their recent trips, but are hopeful one day the drama will be behind them.

“It remains very emotional,” the insider told the outlet. “Harry and Meghan are both realistic. They’re not approaching it with the expectation of a quick resolution.”

“It’s about taking small, manageable steps and seeing where things land. This remains very important to Harry, with Meghan supportive,” they added.

Luckily, the duo has remained united. “The more adversity they face, the more they come together,” the source said.
