Meghan Markle was brutally mocked by fans for her wrinkled clothes during her two-day visit to Jordan. The Duchess of Sussex joined her husband, Prince Harry, for a surprise, two-day visit to the Middle Eastern country.
Harry and Meghan’s visit aims to highlight the humanitarian efforts by the Jordanian authorities and a range of agencies supporting the health and wellbeing of Syrians and Palestinians who have sought sanctuary in Jordan over the decades. But Meghan’s humanitarian motives fell short during the first day of the “pseudo-royal” tour, as fans were more interested in how her clothing looked.
The couple joined Syrian children at a refugee camp and played football, with Meghan sporting casual attire consisting of beige trousers, a khaki top, brown shoes and a white shirt on top.
But her linen trousers appeared to be creased, leaving fans unimpressed.
Several people took to social media to criticise the Duchess for her outfit’s’ messy appearance.
One user wrote on X: “AHAHAA, Duchess wrinkle pants.” Another one joked: “Wrinkle, wrinkle little star, how i wonder what you are…”
A third person said: “Neither Diana nor Princess Catherine would dress in a wrinkled mess.”
While a fourth one commented: “Same old cosplay, different day but always consistently wrinkled & grubby.”

A fifth one added: “What the h*** is she wearing? Paper bags for pants!” A sixth user wrote: “The state of it. The creased trousers. The white shirt that looks like she should be in a laboratory the brand new shoes.”
Another one then said: “What’s with the sweat stain on the front of the pants. What a hot mess.”
Others appeared to like what the Duchess wore, with one fan writing on Instagram: “So BEAUTIFUL.”
Another one added: “Gorgeous as Always.” A third one commented: “A natural beauty.”
The Sussex couple will continue their trip to Jordan tomorrow.
