After traveling through Europe with her family, Duchess Meghan is back in California—and returning to her sartorial roots.
Today on her Instagram Story, the Duchess of Sussex shared a snap that showed a rare look into her laidback, off-duty style. Standing in what appears to be an outdoor gardening supply store with a cartful of flowers towed behind her, Meghan embodied coastal California cool in a navy rollneck sweater, which she styled with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows and the front tucked into a pair of high-waist blue denim jeans. She continued to blend her characteristic quiet luxury style into the rest of the outfit, complementing the look with a pair of dark-brown suede loafers, a black velvet headband, aviator sunglasses, and stud earrings.
Last week, Meghan shared photos from a recent summer holiday with husband Prince Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. In the snaps, the foursome could be seen enjoying several different locales, including a seaside getaway and a trip to the countryside. She also included photos that showed the family on the grounds of Althorp House, the childhood home and resting place of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.
During their travels, the Sussexes also made a surprise visit to Highgrove House, the private royal residence of King Charles and Queen Camilla. The visit marked Archie and Lilibet’s first time back in the United Kingdom since June 2022, when they accompanied their parents for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Meanwhile, Meghan had not visited the U.K. since September 2022, when she attended the queen’s state funeral.
