Though Meghan Markle didn’t share any Instagram posts for UK Mother’s Day this year (unlike last year, when she posted about her family’s traditions), today, she uploaded a clip of herself arranging pink flowers while wearing a black turtleneck and a black velvet headband. A voice that sounds like Prince Harry narrates the clip, saying, “It’s beautiful, so pretty and pink.”

While headbands haven’t been a part of Meghan’s California style, they are frequently favored by many members of the royal family, including her sister-in-law Kate Middleton and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. In addition, headbands are currently trending thanks to the renewed popularity of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s fashion as spotlighted in Love Story on FX and Hulu.
It’s hard to tell the exact style worn by Meghan in her Instagram stories today, but there are many similar velvet black headbands to shop online:

The Duchess of Sussex is a longtime fan of flower arranging, and multiple scenes from her Netflix lifestyle show With Love, Meghan showed her working with blooms. “I learned a lot of this when I was pregnant with my son, Archie,” she said in an episode. “My girlfriends threw a baby shower for me, and one of the things we did was learn flower arranging. I started to find this really calming and meditative, so when I have a little bit of time at the end of the day, I do this. I have a glass of wine and just enjoy it.”
Subsequent Instagram stories shared by Meghan today include a close-up of her flowers, a tree in her backyard, and her daughter Lilibet attempting to pet their chickens.
