Meghan Markle isn’t happy with the royals taking attention away from her and Prince Harry.
According to an insider, the Duchess of Sussex isn’t thrilled that Kate Middleton is embarking on an official tour of Italy right after she and the Spare author returned from their controversial visit to Australia.
“Meghan says every time she and Harry start building momentum, the royal machine suddenly swings into action and steals the spotlight away from them again,” a source told In Touch. “She’s sick and tired of it.”

The Princess of Wales is gearing up to make her first trip since announcing and recovering from her cancer battle.
“From Meghan’s perspective, the timing couldn’t be more obvious,” the insider claimed.
“She and Harry have just come back from this great overseas trip [to Australia] and they’re finally getting some positive press and suddenly Kate’s everywhere again,” they said.
“It’s clear she’s trying to reestablish her territory and Meghan is convinced it’s because Kate is feeling threatened,” the source noted.

Even before the With Love, Meghan star and Harry left The Firm, she and Kate didn’t exactly share a warm relationship.
“Meghan has always said that Kate was unnecessarily competitive with her from the first time they met, and as far as she’s concerned, this is more of the same,” the insider claimed.
Meghan and her husband’s visit Down Under didn’t sit well with the royals, as they are no longer working members of the family.
“Meghan says this whole rollout of appearances and projects by Kate is a calculated move to shift the focus back onto her and the monarchy,” a second source said.

“She doesn’t believe for one second it’s a coincidence,” the second insider noted.
During Meghan and Harry’s appearance in Oz, the two reportedly raked in tons of cash.
“All totaled, this tour could fetch $10 million or more for Meghan and Harry. Anytime these two get in the public eye, it usually follows with a flowing cash register,” Ted Jenkin, the Managing Partner of Exit Wealth Advisors, told Page Six.
