Before returning to California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will remain in New York to take part in Project Healthy Minds’ fourth annual World Mental Health Day Festival on Friday, October 10.
This year, their Archewell Foundation is partnering with the nonprofit to co-produce a series of conversations spotlighting innovators and changemakers in the mental health space.
The festival will also feature Archewell’s Lost Screen Memorial, a digital installation honoring the lives of those impacted by harmful online experiences.
Project Healthy Minds’ founder and CEO, Phillip Schermer, praised the couple’s involvement, calling it a “privilege” to recognize them once again. The Sussexes previously joined the festival in 2023.
“Their leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to advancing mental health awareness have made a profound difference in the lives of so many,” Schermer said. “We are deeply grateful for their philanthropy and advocacy for a cause that is at the very heart of our mission.”
