Meghan Markle appeared to have kept her promise after her former Suits co-star complained about not receiving any of her As Ever jam. Patrick J. Adams, who used to portray Meghan’s love interest and colleague in legal drama Suits, appeared on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny Not Fat podcast last week. The Duchess starred as Rachel Zane in seven seasons of the hugely successful Netflix show which ran from 2011 to 2019.
But she left in 2018 after marrying Prince Harry and moving to Britain. In a short clip posted on the podcast’s Instagram page, Mr Adams spoke about Meghan and her “impeccable” handwriting and also revealed that he “didn’t get a jam” unlike the host, who did.
The actor said: “You got a jam? I didn’t get a jam.”
“How was the jam? Be real… We should taste the jam. We should crack it open.”
Ms Hirsch then agreed that she “should have brought it” to the interview.
On April 3, the Duchess responded to her ex-co-star’s “complaint” with a comment: “Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn”.
She also tagged Mr Adams’ wife, actress Troian Bellisario.
Meghan added: “Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom.”
Now, a week after the sweet exchange, Mr Adams shared an update on the matter.
He posted a picture of an As Ever delivery, which included not one but three jars of Meghan’s spreads, as well as two of honey.
The actor captioned the post: “Worth the wait! Thank you @meghan for the deliciousness and thank you @notskinnybutnotfat for helping raise awareness about my jamlessness.”
Fans loved Meghan’s move and took to the comment section to praise her.
One user wrote: “Such a good friend!”
Another one added: “So sweet!”
A third one said: “Awe!!! There’s still Love there!”
