The couple have travelled to Amman following an invitation from Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization. Shortly after their arrival, Meghan and Harry visited a refugee camp in northern Jordan.
During a visit to QuestScope Youth Center, Meghan was seen kicking a football – with the former working royal’s attempt brutally mocked by royal fans on social media.
Sharing pictures of Meghan, one fan commented: “Cosplaying Catherine again. Meghan is obsessed with Catherine.”
Another wrote: “Ok this is actually kind of funny… never kicked a ball in her life [laughing-face emoji].”
With Harry also seen getting stuck in on the action during the visit, another added: “OMG !!!! They are trying so hard to be William and Catherine !! [laughing-face emoji] They left RF because they hated this kind of events and now look at them [laughing-face emoji] They are soooo ridiculous !!! Look at her [laughing-face emoji].”
A fourth added: “Look, I’m sporty too you know!!! Wow she’s obsessed with Catherine.”
Princess Catherine is known for her love of sport, often pictured getting stuck in to the activities on sporting-focused visits.
Catherine, who is patron of the Rugby Football Union, took part in rugby drills on the pitch with a number of local and professional players during her visit to Maidenhead Rugby Club in Maidenhead in 2023.
She was also seen kicking a football during a visit to City of Derry Rugby Club on September 2021 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
