The Sussexes last undertook official public engagements together in Britain in March 2020, marking what was called their “farewell tour” after deciding to leave the working Royal family.
They have since conducted multiple tours overseas and attended events for the Invictus Games in Vancouver and Düsseldorf together.
The Duchess last stayed in Britain in September 2022, for the funeral of Elizabeth II. The Duke has returned several times alone, and had a short meeting with his father, the King, in September 2025.
Prince Archie, seven, was born in the UK but left with his parents in 2019. Princess Lilibet, five, spent her first birthday here, having travelled with her family for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations when she met her grandfather, the King, for the first time.
