Memphis-made movie wrapping up filming downtown

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Filming is wrapping up on a new movie made entirely in Memphis.

We caught crews downtown shooting the final shots Thursday for “The Last Story of David Allen.” The movie is about a hit man making his last killing.

Crews shot through the rain near Main Street and other parts of downtown.

Back in the spring, scenes were filmed at the Annesdale mansion on Lamar.

The film’s director is Justin Gullett, a Memphis native.

A release date for the movie has not been set.
