Two London homes with rock ‘n’ roll pedigree recently traded hands.
Mick Jagger’s former 1960s party pad has sold to a Rolling Stones fan, who bought the London apartment for its asking price of £5.5 million (US$7.3 million). Jagger rented the apartment, a sub-penthouse in the neighborhood of Marylebone, from 1966 to early 1968 as the Rolling Stones were rising to the height of their fame.
Meanwhile, the home of late Fleetwood Mac hitmaker Christine McVie has been sold at asking price, only a few months after hitting the market for £6.95 million (US$9.26 million). The corner duplex occupies the top two floors of a white stucco-fronted building on Eaton Place in the city’s affluent Belgravia neighborhood.
