With summer in its final days, social media is overrun with pics of people’s vacation highlights…and it’s no surprise that Mick Jagger‘s latest getaway looked pretty spectacular (or that the 82-year-old seemed to enjoy every spectacular moment with the energy of someone decades younger).
The iconic Rolling Stones frontman took to Instagram this week to share a photo carousel from his recent trip to Portugal. Jagger looked just as fit and fabulous as ever amid the stunning scenery, posing in front of ornate architecture, leaning against a stone wall, standing on a yacht at sunset, and showing off an incredibly over-the-top car decorated with gold angel sculptures.
“Took a summer break in Portugal – a beautiful place to explore!” Jagger captioned the post.
Fans couldn’t get over the lovely snaps…or how amazing Jagger looked.
“You should tell us what you eat daily. How do you stay so fit and looking good,” one person demanded, adding, “You are an inspiration. Saw you & the band in Seattle & Vancouver. Wow, danced the whole show.”
“Enjoy your holidays Mick! Beautiful place! Thanks for these beautiful pics!” a second commenter raved, with another agreeing, “Great photos, great music, great man!!”
How does Mick Jagger stay in shape?
According to Outside, Jagger has worked with Norwegian personal trainer Torje Eike for years, working out five to six days every week. His fitness regime has included a mix of sprinting, yoga, dancing and strength training.
“I train five or six days a week, but I don’t go crazy,” Jagger said at one point, per Vogue, adding, “I alternate between gym work and dancing, then I do sprints, things like that. I’m training for stamina.”
As anyone who’s ever seen the Rolling Stones live can confirm, stamina is one thing Jagger definitely has in spades.
