Mickey Gooch, Jr.—the star, writer, and producer of Off-Broadway’s Silverback Mountain—will crossover to Broadway’s Celebrity Autobiography at the Shubert Theatre for one performance only June 22. Gooch will read an excerpt from Rebel Wilson’s Rebel Rising that details their relationship.
The stunt comes as Silverback Mountain gets a one-week extension at AMT Theater, with performances now set to continue there through June 28. Described as a “screwball comedy meets rom-com musical,” the work follows Lucas and Andy, boyfriends who have differing ideas of what they want for their relationship. Andy wants monogamy, Lucas wants space. In the midst of their arguing, they end up heading to Uganda on a gorilla trekking trip. Silverback Mountain tickets can be found at Ludus.com.

Celebrity Autobiography officially opened on Broadway May 18, with Rita Wilson producing and co-starring.
