Miley Cyrus is adding magazine editor to her lengthy résumé.
The Grammy winner, 33, will lead the charge on Wonderland magazine‘s summer 2026 issue as guest editor, the publication announced on Monday, July 27.
Cyrus will edit the issue in close collaboration with its Chief Creative Officer Alastair McKimm, and will call on family members and collaborators like Dolly Parton, Daryl Hannah, Noah Cyrus, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, Kelela, Lykke Li, Sky Ferreira, 070 Shake, Towa Bird, Suzanne Vega, Tallulah Willis, Scout Willis, Model/Actriz and Phantogram to bring her vision to life.
“[I’m] working alongside people I love and seeing an idea through from beginning to end. None of us did this because we had to,” Cyrus tells Hannah in a wide-ranging conversation featured in the issue. “It was completely driven by desire and inspiration. I also loved getting to champion artists I admire. Being surrounded by kind people while creating beautiful imagery at the same time is the dream.”

The issue is anchored by an extensive portfolio by Mario Sorrenti, and features additional photos by Gray Sorrenti, plus a deep dive into Cyrus’s fashion archive by Bradley Kenneth and a behind-the-scenes feature about the creation of the star’s recently unveiled collectible Barbie doll.
“For twenty years, Wonderland has represented the best of pop culture, so my first call was Miley,” McKimm says in a statement. “Miley has incredible instincts and loves to use her platform. Wonderland felt like an extension of that – spotlighting friends and family, new and established artists, her world. She really understands what Wonderland represents and had a very clear vision for her issue.”
Other sections of the issue will include interviews, profiles and more, plus an editor’s letter written by the “Flowers” singer.

“Getting to place my voice into the mix alongside so many creatives I admire, all the artists featured in the issue, and of course Mario and Alastair, was a dream come true,” she writes in her letter.
Elsewhere in Wonderland, Cyrus discusses her love of being surrounded by creative people, calling them “contagious.”
“It’s almost like brain envy,” she says. “I love being around… people who see the world in a way I don’t. They plant little seeds in my brain that grow into my own thought forest. Creativity breeds creativity. It multiplies when it is shared.”

The star — who released her ninth studio album Something Beautiful in May 2025 — also opens up about songwriting, revealing it’s a “feeling” to her.
“It’s alive. It almost becomes its own little entity that tells you what it needs if you’re listening,” she says. “I love making records with people who aren’t precious about ideas. Everyone is there because they’re excited by the same thing. There’s no ego in the room when it’s working. Just curiosity.”
The issue is available now at wonderlandshop.com and at select retailers.
