She’s dialed up to eleven.
At the London premiere of “Stranger Things” Season 5, Millie Bobby Brown had a tense moment with a photographer.
During the event on Nov. 13, Brown was posing for pictures when a photographer yelled out to her, “Smile!”
The actress, 21, snapped back “Smile? You Smile!” and pointed to them angrily before turning away.
“Millie got mad at the photographers and left the carpet .. ok Chappell Roan,” one critic wrote on X, formerly Twitter, referring to how the singer also has had tense red carpet moments.
However, others supported her, writing, “she’s a young mom who had no idea how hard getting married and adopting a baby would be. Give her some grace yall.”
Brown was 12 in 2016, during the first season of “Stranger Things.” Today, she’s married to Jake Bongiovi, 23, as the two tied the knot in May 2024. She’s also now a mother, as the couple adopted a daughter over the summer.
The London event comes a week after the LA premiere on Nov. 6, which Brown attended with her “Stranger Things” co-star David Harbour, 50.
The duo posed for photos, laughing and smiling together following reports that Brown, 21, accused Harbour, 51, of harassment and bullying on the set of the Netflix series.
Seemingly as a way to squash rumors of a feud, the actors looked thick as thieves in public, and Brown also gushed over her onscreen adopted father.
“I’ve obviously had a really special bond with David because we have a father and daughter relationship, and we do every scene together,” Brown told Entertainment Tonight. “You really get to see that in season 5.”
During a 2021 episode of the That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast, Harbour said, “Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young. I knew her before any of this big fame hit…I have a real protective feeling for her….I’ve just always felt this kind of deep fatherly affection for her.”
However, at the London premiere, Harbour was absent.
The show will finally end after ten years later this month. Brown told Variety in a story published Thursday, “I bawled more than I expected I would” on her final day filming the show.
She added, “While I was at the point personally and professionally for the show to come to an end, I realized in that moment the finality was so real and I was maybe not emotionally prepared.”
“Stranger Things” Season 5 will have 8 episodes, dropping on Netflix in three volumes, releasing on Nov. 26, Dec. 25, and Dec. 31.
