Miranda, who has a 14-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, explained how her relationship with Bloom’s ex, Katy Perry, has changed over time in a positive way.
In an interview cited in E News, Kerr pointed out, “Having love and respect for each other is so important,”.
In an appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, Miranda Kerr opened up on how co-parenting with pop star Katy Perry over the years has bolstered their friendship.
As per the reports cited in People, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel, Miranda Kerr, said, “Everyone’s human, and it’s important to really put the children first and what’s the best needs of the children and how do we make everyone feel accepted and loved.”
The 42-year-old added, “At the end of the day, we’re all human and we’re all trying to be the best versions of ourselves. Why not be good examples for our children?”
Miranda Kerr and Bloom married in 2010 and had their first son, Flynn, in January 2011.
After the couple split in 2013, Kerr married Evan Spiegel, the founder of Snapchat. Together, they have three boys- Hart, Myles, and Pierre.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry met Orlando Bloom in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party, and in August 2020, they welcomed their daughter. According to BBC reports, although they got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019, they soon confirmed their split.
