“We are weeks into filming season 2, but I had to take a moment and reflect on season 1. A quick praise break because we made it through😩🙌🏾!

This genre is so fast paced it can feel like a never ending race against the clock. Filming 6 episodes a week, constantly getting new characters, endless fittings, 85% of these fittings happening the SAME DAY as filming, with only about 15-30 minutes with the actor. Now, I come from the soap world, but this right here, this is another level. Beyond the Gates feels like some fusion of soap opera, television series and feature film. @michelevaljean and @sheiladucks you have outdone yourselves👏🏾 This is beyond what I imagined.

Thank you to my team for all of your hard work, dedication, problem solving, positive attitudes, and flexibility. Together we’ve built a force of a department. And thank you to my husbaanddd for keeping me sane and uplifted through those tough days, always coming through with the best advice😘.

Featherstone began her daytime career on The Bold and The Beautiful, where her work earned the Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Costume Design/Styling in 2023 and 2024.

She left The Bold and the Beautiful in 2024 and began work on Beyond the Gates where she worked on Season 1 of the beloved Daytime Drama and has continued on as production has begun on Season 2.
