Additionally, the second annual Mudbug Music Fest will take place this Saturday, April 18, at the SCHC starting at 4 p.m. The event will feature music, food, and children’s activities.
Jared Smith & The Hired Guns will play from 4-6 p.m., and Howl & The Big Bad Wolves will play from 6-8 p.m.
“Festivals like Mudbug Music Fest bring people together,” Mahoney said. “In a world where people are so busy, sharing live music and great food brings a sense of unity.”
Children’s activities will include corn hole, monster toss, an obstacle course and a bounce house.
Admission is $5 per person. Crawfish and shrimp (prepared by Goldie’s Express), hot dogs, beer specials, ice cream, and more will be for sale à la carte.
The SCHC is located at 1302 Adams St.
