Two music legends have been added to the new line-up of Celebrity Gogglebox and will be seen in an episode soon.
Fans of the Scissor Sisters and Queens of the Stone Age will be excited to hear that two musicians from the groups will be starring in the newest episode of the show.
Jake Shears and Josh Homme, who have been friends for a long time, will be taking part in the show together.
The pair will be starring in the show tomorrow (Friday, July 17).
Why are Jake Shears and Josh Homme taking part in Celebrity Gogglebox?
A source for The Sun said: “This is a first for Jake and Josh but when they were offered a chance to watch some telly together, they jumped at the chance.
“They’re great mates away from the music industry and this was something they thought was really good fun.
“Together they had a blast filming for the show and can’t wait for their fans to see them on screen.”
The episode comes at a good time for Queens of the Stone Age, as the band has just released their first new music since 2023 with the new single, Easy Street, on Tuesday, July 14.
The band had performed the song that features guest vocals from Nikki Lane last year at their Catacombs tour.
Who else will be starring in Celebrity Gogglebox?
The Saturdays’ Mollie King is also taking part in the show with her partner and English cricketer, Stuart Broad.
Roman and Martin Kemp, Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, Nick Grimsahw and his niece Liv, and Rylan and his mum Linda have all returned to the show for the new series.
The next episode of Celebrity Gogglebox will be airing at 9pm on Friday, July 17.
