ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Music on the Half Shell concert series, held every summer at Stewart Park in Roseburg, is implementing a new rule.
Due to recent incidents at Music On The Half Shell, effective July 1, 2025, all minors near the concert area in Stewart Park must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian, says a media release from Music on the Half Shell’s Clint Newell.

“With the increasing number of minors in the area that seem to lack regard for the concerts or the patrons, adult supervision has become necessary due to the violence that has recently occurred,” Newell’s statement says. “It is regrettable to implement this change, but for now it is necessary.”
Music on the Half Shell has a history of providing enjoyable concerts for everyone and will continue to do what it takes to deliver great experiences going forward, the statement continues.
“The public support of the series is appreciated.”
