Bruno Mars has confirmed that a new album is on the way after 10 years since his last full-length project.
The pop music icon announced on social media Monday that his forthcoming album was complete.
“My album is done,” Mars wrote in an X post on Jan. 5.
The upcoming project will be his first solo full-length release since “24K Magic.” The 2016 album spawned the hits “That’s What I Like” and “24K Magic” and won six trophies at the 2018 Grammys, including Album of the Year.
Despite not releasing a proper album over the past decade, Mars has remained active through several major collaborations. He teamed up with Anderson .Paak for the Grammy Award-winning duo Silk Sonic, released the global smash “APT.” with BLACKPINK’s Rosé and broke streaming records with his duet with the Lady Gaga, “Die with a Smile.”
Mars’ new project will be the musician’s fourth studio album to date, joining his 2010 debut “Doo-Wops & Hooligans,” 2012’s “Unorthodox Jukebox” and “24K Magic.”
