9-1-1: Nashville took a heartfelt moment to pay tribute late actress Isabelle Tate, who tragically passed away at the age of 23 earlier this month. The tribute moved fans who remembered Tate’s brief yet memorable appearance in the pilot episode of the new ABC spinoff.

9-1-1: Nashville honors late actress Isabelle Tate in Episode 4

The latest episode of 9-1-1: Nashville, titled “Bad Case of the Blues,” ended with an emotional “In Loving Memory” title card dedicated to Isabelle Tate. The young actress appeared in the show’s pilot episode, where she portrayed Julie.

Tate’s agency, the McCray Agency, confirmed that she passed away peacefully on October 19 after battling a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a progressive neuromuscular disorder. The condition affects multiple systems in the body and causes gradual muscle weakness that causes several complications.

In her obituary, the agency described her as “full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others.” It further reads, “She was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others.”

On the show, Tate, who played Julie, asks another bar patron to let her see Blue Bennings, played by Hunter McVey, a stripper performing on stage. When the woman refuses and mocks her, Blue notices and kindly walks off the stage to dance for Julie, even though it breaks the rules.

The tribute in Episode 4 served as a loving farewell to Isabelle Tate. Though her time on 9-1-1: Nashville was brief, her strength, courage and performance left a lasting impact on both fans and the show.
