Following record-setting tours in 2024 and 2025, Bargatze is continuing his high-profile roadwork in 2026 with the Big Dumb Eyes World Tour. The tour will stop at Downtown’s FedExForum on Thursday, March 26.
Here’s what to know ahead of Bargatze’s Memphis show.
Nate Bargatze: From Tennessee roots to comedy stardom
Bargatze, born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, moved to Chicago in 2001 to start working on his comedy career. Since then, he has followed in the showbiz footsteps of his father, a former clown turned world class magician, whose influence is seen on his 2015 debut Comedy Central special, “Full Time Magic,” and his debut album, “Yelled at By a Clown,” which reached No. 1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and remained on Billboard’s Top Ten Comedy Charts for weeks.
Over the past decade, Bargatze has solidified his place at the top of the comedy world. Hailed as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up” by The Atlantic Magazine and “One of the Funniest People” by CBS Mornings, Bargatze is now a Grammy- and Emmy-nominated, New York Times bestselling author, actor, podcaster, director and producer, who’s earned raves for his appearances hosting “Saturday Night Live” and various award shows.
Bargatze’s live draw has placed him in the pantheon of all entertainment superstars — in 2024 he sold 1.2 million tickets on the road and earned the biggest one-year gross by a comedy performer in history.
