Forget widening your age range on Hinge: Netflix’s new reality show Age of Attraction is setting out to prove that when it comes to love, age really is just a number.
The trailer for Age of Attraction dropped today, revealing a group of singles all looking for their perfect match. Unlike Netflix’s very popular Love Is Blind, which starts off with daters sequestered in pods, unable to see their potential matches, these contestants can mix and mingle in person to see if there’s a spark. However, there’s a catch: The group ranges in age from 22 to 60, but no one in this dating pool is aware of anyone else’s age prior to coupling up.
And when those ages are revealed? It’s a doozy. “I didn’t know there were 60-year-olds here,” contestant Andrew says in the trailer. But other contestants are happier to have their ages concealed. “I don’t want to fit in a box,” Vanessa says. “Why does it matter how old I am?”
Of course, age is more than just superficial. As the trailer continues, it becomes obvious that there are real-world hurdles associated with age — like, say, what their families will think, as one contestant muses. Another considers whether having kids with the partner they’ve selected will be possible.
The new reality show is hosted by two people who know a lot about age gaps: former Bachelor star and current Viall Files podcast host Nick Viall, 45, and his wife, 26-year-old surgical technologist Natalie Joy. They began dating when Joy was around 20, and the two now share 2-year-old daughter River.
Viall previously spoke about the hurdles the two faced due to their age gap.
“When we first met, I had a lot of nervousness, and reservations and fears about why we wouldn’t work, and I got in my head,” Viall told E! News in July 2025. “It was just about removing those fears, and not operating from a place of fear, but looking at what was great about our relationship.”
Though he said there are “so many great aspects of our relationship,” many of them “came from us working through our own preconceived notions about why we might not work.”
“We’re so glad that we did,” he said. “With the relationship we have now and the family we have.”
The first five episodes of Age of Attraction premiere on Netflix on March 11. The sixth and seventh episodes arrive on March 18, and the finale is scheduled for March 25.
