The recently released Avengers: Doomsday photo may actually tie into The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie is scheduled to arrive in 2026. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, then follows in 2027.
How could the Avengers: Doomsday picture tie into The Fantastic Four: First Steps?
On Instagram, the Russo Brothers’ official account recently shared a cryptic, blurry photo with the caption “#DoomsdayIsComing.”
There has since been much talk and speculation about what this photo could mean; however, one of the more popular theories to emerge is that it could be a zoomed-in look at Reed Richards’ chalkboard, which was seen in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
At this point, there’s no way of truly knowing what the photo could be of, as official plot details for Avengers: Doomsday remain heavily under wraps.
