NEW BERN, Craven County — City leaders in New Bern are taking a step toward expanding family entertainment options.
Mayor Jeffrey Odham says the idea has been discussed for years, and last week the Board of Aldermen unanimously approved a feasibility study to explore what could work for the community.
The study will examine what types of facilities New Bern may need, along with what would be sustainable in the long term.
Odham says the city is looking forward to seeing the results and determining the next steps.
No timeline for the study’s completion was immediately released.
City leaders say they will provide updates as more information becomes available.
