Downtown New Bern was full of life as the Christmas parade rolled through town Saturday Morning.
Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and of course groups from all around the city joined in for the New Bern Christmas parade. The crowd grew all morning, and filled the streets of downtown. Visitors enjoyed all different kinds of live music and free candy. One New Bern native tells us she and her daughter look forward to the parade each year
We have been here for the past– what, 5 years. But, we love seeing the Bears and the different characters that we know that’s in the actual uniform and things like that, and my baby enjoys the candy.
Even some of News 12’s very own joined in on the fun, saying hello and spreading the holiday cheer.
