Kim Kardashian is secretly getting hypnotized in a desperate bid to cope with trauma stemming from her marriage to Kanye West and amid new fears about what will be revealed in a bombshell documentary revolving around him, a source tells The National Enquirer.
Kardashian, 44, “still gets nightmares about being married to Kanye — she’s still very traumatized and it’s all been triggered again by this documentary,” says the source referring to In Whose Name? “She goes [for hypnosis] twice a week right now but may ramp it up because it’s really helping.”
As The National Enquirer previously reported, a trailer for In Whose Name? captures Kardashian in tears while telling the 47-year-old rapper, “Your personality was not like this a few years ago,” while another moment shows West declaring, “I’m off my meds for five months now.” (In February, West revealed that he had received an autism diagnosis and said his previous bipolar disorder diagnosis was incorrect.)
“I’d rather be dead than to be on medication,” he rants in the doc. “Either they destroy me or I destroy it.”

Another explosive moment shows Kanye angrily cutting Kim off when she tries to calm him down during a heated exchange.
“She is still very haunted, and if people knew what she truly endured with him they would understand why,” the source says. “He completely tormented her, he broke down her self-esteem.”
The documentary, featuring six years of intimate footage, hits theaters September 19 — but sources say Kim’s trauma runs deeper than what cameras captured.
“The things she went along with just to try and keep him happy make her sick to her stomach,” the source adds. “And then there’s the years of dealing with his shifting moods and his deteriorating mental health, and trying to manage that and keep it all hidden.”
“For many years,” adds the source, “she was emotionally trapped.”
