WEST LOOP — A new music festival will debut at Union Park Memorial Day weekend, featuring well-known R&B and house artists that shaped the early 2000s.
Forever Mine Music Festival, by Windy City Events Management, will take place May 23-24 with three different stages, live art installations, Y2K-inspired photo booths and more, according to a press release.
Music artists for the main stage include Keyshia Cole, Kelly Rowland, Kaytranada, Juvenile and The 400 Degreez Band, Monica, Shaggy, Mario, JoJo, Lloyd, Bobby V, BabyBash, Freddy Phatz, Ca$h Era, Mýa, Chingy, Nina Sky, M-Dok, and Sean Mac.
A second stage dedicated to “pioneers of dance and club culture” includes Terry Hunter, LadyD, DJ Slugo, Joe Kay, Lou Phelps, Kitty Ca$h, Hillery Banks and more, according to a press release.
A third stage will be dedicated to silent disco, where attendees will be able to grab headphones and tune into live performances from DJs like Francesca Eva, Kid Clay, Evie The Cool and Jukie Tha Kidd.
Forever Mine Music Festival will run from noon-10 p.m. May 23-24. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday. Daily general admission is $79 and daily VIP tickets are $149. Weekend general admission is $149 and weekend VIP tickets are $279. Kids 5 and younger get free admission.
