A longtime pop-punk band is back with new music after making a big change in their career.
New Found Glory announced a new album, their first full-length release in nearly six years, will be out Feb. 20, 2026. “Listen Up!” will feature 10 songs including newly released single “Laugh It Off” (see music video below), and it will be NFG’s first album since signing with a new record label — Pure Noise Records.
“The overall message/theme of this album is to encourage hope through hard times, while also looking at the world as somewhat of a fly on a wall: seeing people’s fear, negativity, and stress about small things that only scratch the surface of what life will eventually — but bring in a hopeful way. We want to encourage hope that the hard times will bring growth and strength. So the music is super fun and anthemic and loose feeling. We’re singing loud and proud about the scars and not in a pity party sort of way,” New Found Glory said in a statement. “There’s also a lot of reflection. We’re looking back at the good ol’ days as reminders of all we’ve been through in life that led us to the people we are today. Sonically the album has that juxtaposition too. It’s fun pop melodies mixed with the heavier, riffed songs.”
“Listen Up!” marks a new chapter in New Found Glory’s career, which began in Florida in 1997. The pop-punk band rose to fame in the Warped Tour/“TRL” era of music with early 2000s hits like “My Friends Over You,” “All Downhill From Here” and “Hit or Miss,” and remained popular with songs like 2014’s “Vicious Love” (feat. Paramore’s Hayley Williams) and high-energy covers of movie soundtrack classics like “Kiss Me,” “Iris,” and “King of Wishful Thinking.”
Past NFG albums were released on labels like Drive-Thru Records, Epitaph, and, most recently, Hopeless Records. As the group approaches their 30th anniversary, their new home will be Pure Noise Records, an indie label behind punk/pop-punk/alternative rock artists like Four Year Strong, Hawthorne Heights, Less Than Jake, The Early November, and the Upstate New York-based State Champs.
New Found Glory, featuring singer Jordan Pundik, guitarist-vocalist Chad Gilbert, bassist Ian Grushka and drummer Cyrus Bolooki, recently wrapped up a tour with The Offspring and Jimmy Eat World that included a Syracuse concert at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview in July. NFG’s set included new song “100%,” which will also be on the “Listen Up!” album.
The album will also be the band’s first full-length collection of new music since 2020, when the release of “Forever + Ever x Infinity” was disrupted by the Covid pandemic. They also released a collection of acoustic and live songs in 2023, “Make the Most of It,” before returning to the studio for more original music.
“We wanted to make something that really focused on how lucky we are,” Gilbert said of the upcoming LP. “We’ve all gone through serious stuff in our lives, and I think the lyrics on this record are more meaningful and purposeful than ever. It’s a positive outlet that hopefully keeps people going.”
