The installment will mark a new era for the franchise under Amazon MGM Studios, with producers David Heyman and Amy Pascal leading the project.
The search is said to focus on an “unknown” British actor in his late 20s or early 30s. This aligns with Ian Fleming’s description of Bond as “a blunt instrument.” Sources confirm the role will remain male and limited to actors from the British Isles. That rules out speculated names like Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, and Tom Hardy.
By the time filming begins, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jack Lowden will be nearing their late 30s. This raises questions about their suitability for the role.
