Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix—see which BTG star fans hope will be Nicole’s new man) and Ted’s son Martin (Brandon Claybon) dealt with the emotional weight and turmoil over having accidentally killed a man while defending himself and his grandfather Vernon (Clifton Davis).
Throwing a health crisis at the Duprees would be another blow to their ability to get some peace. Especially if it involves one of the pillars of their family, either the commanding matriarch Anita (Tamara Tunie) or Vernon, the Duprees’ rock and patriarch.
