Within seconds, the law enforcement officers are on ’em, and start blasting from their own ships. “It’s over, drop your weapons,” they shout as they surround them at ground-level. “I said, ‘drop ’em’!”
“I guess we should do as he says,” the helmet-wearing ringleader says sarcastically, as we see Maul’s boots stomp down from the bigger ship’s hold – and John Williams ‘ orchestral banger kicks in.
The red-faced Sith then deflects the cops’ blasts with his lightsaber and even manages to take a few of them out with the ricochets as he walks into the middle of the shoot-out. He then takes a huge leap and swings his lightsaber as a terrified guard gasps and the screen cuts to black. Epic stuff.
Set after the Clone Wars, as the titular villain tries to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet called Janix, Maul – Shadow Lord premieres on April 6.
