New Music from Go-Jo, Erika Vikman, Luna and more

Although we’re officially into the Eurovision 2026 season, it will still be some time before we hear any national final and Eurovision songs. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.

Tinashe Knows Fame Is “Too Easy” on New Song

Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.

Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 44 part 2

With so many new songs this week, we’ve split the roundup into two smaller articles. You can find part 1 here.

Go-Jo & Erika Vikman – “Appetite”

If you’ve got an “Appetite” for iconic Eurovision collaborations, then get ready to feast this week.

The first comes courtesy of Eurovision 2025 stars Go-Jo and Erika Vikman. They’ve have joined forces for a rock’n’roll track packed with delectable goodies to chow down. Combining their Australian and Finnish spirit, the pair offer themselves up for someone else to enjoy: “Come and put your mouth where your money is / Yeah it’s time to get hard or go home / I can see the way you’re looking and it’s ravenous / So baby come on, come on, come on / How big’s your appetite?”

MELOVIN & alyona alyona – “не схожі”

Two Ukrainian Eurovision stars unite for this track — MELOVIN (2018) and alyona alyona (2024). Their duet, “не схожі” (“Not alike”), speaks about sticking together even in the coldest times. No matter how different we might be on the outside, love can unite us and warm the heart: “And we are together / Although not alike / Around snow and empty souls / We are in love among them, guilty / And we are together, not guilty of anything / No matter how much time passes / You are my wing, I am your wing.”

Cleo & Donatan – “Światło”

Cleo and Donatan were Poland’s representatives at Eurovision 2014. The singer and music producer are back together for the new single, “Światło” (“Light”). A steady folk track with traditional Polish elements, Cleo uses the song to honour her parents. After a period of time away, embarking on her own adventures, Cleo now plans on returning to the shelter they provide: “Mum, you gave me a heart / You were my home, the heat inside / A good word during the hardest days / I’m turning on now, I’m turning on / The lights so I can come back there / Where home, my home is.”

Luna – “Hush husH”

“Darling can you feel it now? / The world’s turning upside down / Like jewels in a crown / Forever we’re bound.”

Luna is spreading magic this Halloween. Poland’s Eurovision 2024 star has begun a new era of her music with the single “Hush husH.” The spiritual pop offering was written as a spell for love, as Luna notes on social media:

“We all want love. To love and to be loved. Hush Hush is my spell for it — a dangerous little piece of magic that pulls you in without asking. Don’t fall in love. Cast it with me!”

Blue – “Waste My Love”

As Blue head towards their 25th anniversary next year, the British band have dropped the sophomore single from their upcoming album. “Waste My Love” is an R&B-pop song with a slight 2000’s throwback feel from the boyband’s heyday. In the lyrics, the Eurovision 2011 alumni tell their lovers that they’d do anything to be with them: “I’ll move the mountains if / I get to get you by my side / Go ahead and take your time / Whatever you decide / Oh, I wanna waste my love / With every breath you’d be the one I choose.”

KEiiNO – Chromium Heart

KEiiNO (Eurovision 2019) are rounding out the year with a full studio album. Chromium Heart features 11 songs, many of which the Norwegian trio have released over the last couple of years — including their Melodi Grand Prix 2024 entry “Damdiggida.” But there are also two brand new tracks at the start of the LP for fans to enjoy for the first time.

Sofi Marinova & Teodora – “Фабрика за рани”

Eurovision 2012 contestant Sofi Marionva has released a new song alongside fellow Bulgarian singer Teodora. “Фабрика за рани” (“Factory of wounds”) is a mid-tempo folk offering that sees the women giving a warning. They highlight the trouble they experienced whilst in relationship with a certain man and hope to prevent other women from having to go through the same thing: “I know them, his sinful hands / Factory of wounds / He deceived me with them, just like you / Run, while there’s time / Until you curse your love / Exactly, like me.”

Václav Noid Bárta & Eliška Bártová – “Vděčím”

Music has been Václav Noid Bárta’s passion since childhood. In fact, the Czech singer started writing this particular piece when he was a teenager. However, it has taken thirty years to be truly complete — and the final piece to the puzzle is his wife, Eliška Bártová, who joins Václav in duet on “Vděčím” (“I owe”).

Writing on social media, the Eurovision 2015 participant added:

“I wrote this melody when I was about fourteen years old and it’s been lying in a ‘replica’ for 30 years. It is actually very beautiful to look at that 14-year-old boy and call to the past: ‘Don’t worry, you will have the most amazing family, Veno. You will have the best friends and a job that you already love and desire so much!!’”

Cláudia Pascoal – “O Homem Que Mordeu O Cão”

Inspiration for music comes from many places — love, betrayal, sadness. But Cláudia Pascoal brings us a unique subject matter in “O Homem Que Mordeu O Cão” (“The Man Who Bit The Dog”). The title is the name of a very popular radio segment in Portugal, which Nuno Markl has been running since 1997. Markl asked Pascoal to create a new opening theme for the show, which the Eurovision 2018 star has now presented.

The radio segment reports true but bizarre news with humorous commentary, so naturally the accompanying song has plenty of personality to it as well.

Ulrikke & Jim Bergsted – “Gråter du”

Eurovision 2020 contestant Ulrikke has teamed up with Jim Bergsted for “Gråter du” (Are you crying”). Driven by acoustic guitar with strong accompaniment, it’s a gentle pop ballad. The Norwegian pair sings about the eternal question after a breakup — are they now with another?

“Are you crying with someone else now? / And are you opening your heart / Like we did last year? / Are you crying in the bed where we lay? / And are you opening your dark mind / Does it still hurt just as much? / We were so close before we just let it go.”

MIRO & ALMA – “Там”

MIRO’s new song came from a time of pain in the singer’s life. “Там” (“There”) sees the Eurovision 2010 alum looking for a sign that someone he used to hold dear is still by his side: “I need to know / Why don’t you let me know? / Am I with you or alone / Give me a sign that you’re there.” MIRO is joined on the song by fellow Bulgarian singer ALMA.

3JS & Wesly Bronkhorst – “Later Is Morgen”

3JS represented the Netherlands at Eurovision in 2011. They’ve now teamed up with Dutch folk singer Wesly Bronkhorst for the new song “Later Is Morgen” (“Later is tomorrow”). The charming track is about not putting off your future dreams for too long, because in a flash you’ll be old and unable to pursue them anymore. Writing on Instagram, the group noted:

“A few months ago Wesly and we got together with one goal: to make something that makes you happy.
It became a song about chasing dreams and seizing the moment — just what we ourselves did when we wrote this.”

ANNIKA feat. Justs – “How I Need It”

Latvian singer ANNIKA has a new song out this week, titled “How I Need It.” She’s brought onboard Eurovision 2016 alum Justs to provide featured vocals. A raw and stripped-back indie-pop offering, the pair sing in the chorus: “You caught the light that I needed / Come hold me tight so I can feel it.”

Lake Malawi – Lake Malawi

After a few years away, Lake Malawi (Eurovision 2019) are back with a brand new self-titled EP. The record contains four tracks, each of which brings back a flavour of the Czech group’s indie-pop style that has been missing from our lives.

Käärijä – “Vantaalainen”

Another week, another episode of Vain elämää — the Finnish TV show where singers perform covers of each other’s discography. At the centre of attention this week was Johannes Brotherus, lead singer of KUUMAA. As soon as you hit play, you’ll very likely recognise the song Käärijä decided to reinterpret — KUUMAA’s UMK 2023 hit “Ylivoimainen.” Käärijä has not only switched up the musical production but also changed the lyrics and now sings about a “Vantaalainen” (“Vantaa resident”).

Samra – “Haxışta”

Samra (Eurovision 2016) is heading back to the ’90s. For her new single, “Haxışta,” the Azeri singer has sampled 1990 hit “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory. Samra uses the song and accompanying music video to show a different side to Azeri women compared to the traditional looks — and includes a horror twist for spooky season.

Lindita – “Dream in My Head”

Lindita’s latest single is “Dream in My Head.” Albania’s representative from Eurovision 2017 starts the track with a breathy opening. But a surprise awaits at the one minute mark as we get introduced to house beats that bring a more club-friendly feel. Lyrically, Lindita sings about breaking free from a failed relationship: “Thought you was perfect / Oh my, what a lie / You were never the one / Just a dream in my head / I am no longer bound to your spell.”

Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
